Soft pink walls, serious coffee
Soft Sip opened on Waterloo Road in 2022 with a simple idea: a cafe that feels as good as it tastes.
The room is soft pink from the velvet booths to the neon on the wall (all you need is coffee), the coffee is specialty grade and poured from 5am, and the menu moves easily between Aussie cafe classics and the Lebanese plates that Greenacre grew up on: eggs benny next to sujuk and labneh, smashed avo next to za’atar bruschetta, a stacked club sandwich next to a breakfast platter built for sharing.
It is a family place. Kids get babycinos and little pancakes, grandparents get a proper cappuccino, and nobody is rushed out the door. The venue is alcohol free, with outdoor seating and wheelchair access.
